Bekasi Industrial Warehouse Complex

Full structural material package for a 15,000 m² logistics and warehousing complex in the Bekasi industrial corridor, delivered in 3 phases.

Project Overview

PT Logistics Nusantara required a large-scale warehousing facility to support growing e-commerce fulfilment demand in Greater Jakarta. The 15,000 m² complex was designed in three connected bays, each built sequentially to allow partial occupancy while construction continued.

Challenge

Industrial warehouse construction requires large-span structural steel delivered with tight tolerances. Lead times for wide-flange sections can be long, and any misalignment between material delivery and steel erection creates expensive idle time for fabrication crews.

Our Approach

We worked directly with the structural engineer and the steel fabricator to model the material delivery sequence against the erection programme. WF sections were pre-tagged by bay and delivered in assembly order, meaning the fabrication crew could unload directly to the work area without re-sorting.

Outcome

All three bays were structurally complete within the 10-month programme. Phase 1 and 2 storage space was operational before Phase 3 construction began, allowing the client to start revenue-generating operations five months ahead of full project completion.
